     Thomas Brownell was born on 15 February 1702 at Little Compton, RI.¹ He was the son of Thomas Brownell and Esther Tabor.¹ Thomas Brownell married Hannah Potter, daughter of Stokes Potter, circa 1726.¹ Thomas Brownell died between 21 May 1754 and 14 October 1754 at Dartmouth, Bristol, RI.¹

     Nicholas Coffin was born circa 1550 at near Brixton, Devonshire, England.¹ He died on 8 October 1613 at Butlers, Brixton Parish, Devonshire.
     Nicholas Coffin "belonged to an ancient family of gentry in Devonshire. During the thirteenth century one Richard Coffyn was granted free warren in the manor of Alurington by King Henry III, and early in the next century the manor was settled upon another Richard Coffyn, from whose day, until the present time the lordship of the manor has remained in the Coffin family. It is one of the rare instances of an English estate being retained for a period of nearly eight hundred years in one family and continuing the original name. The grounds belonging to the manor comprise most of the parish of Alurington, about three thousand seven hundred acres, near the borough of Bideford in North Devon, which Charles Kingsley so graphically describes in his Westward Ho."²

     Mary Slocum was born on 3 July 1660. She was the daughter of Giles Slocum and Joan Cook. Mary Slocum married Abraham Tucker on 30 October 1679 at Dartmouth. Mary Slocum died on 25 September 1689 at age 29.
     As of 30 October 1679,her married name was Tucker.

     Samuel Slocum was born on 6 April 1657. He was the son of Giles Slocum and Joan Cook. Samuel Slocum died in 1700.

     John Slocum was born on 26 May 1645. He was the son of Giles Slocum and Joan Cook. John Slocum died before 2 February 1702.

     Giles Slocum was born on 25 March 1647. He was the son of Giles Slocum and Joan Cook. Giles Slocum died on 1 January 1713 at age 65.
     Giles Slocum was "Hon. Giles", being many times chosen as Deputy and as Assistant; and he frequently served as Moderator at Town Meetings and as Town Councilman. He lived at Dartmouth, Portsmouth, where he inherited the homestead, and at Newport. His wife Anne Lawton (1645-1703) was the daughter of Thomas Lawton & Elizabeth (Salisbury).

     Ebenezer Slocum was born on 25 March 1650. He was the son of Giles Slocum and Joan Cook. Ebenezer Slocum died on 13 April 1715 at age 65.
     Ebenezer Slocum married about 1677, Mary Thurston, born Feb. 1657, daughter of Edward & Elizabeth (Mott) Thurston. She died 16 Nov. 1732. Ebenezer was considered "a valuable minister" of the Quakers. He resided on Conanicut Island at Jamestown.

     Nathaniel Slocum was born on 25 December 1652. He was the son of Giles Slocum and Joan Cook. Nathaniel Slocum died on 31 August 1702 at age 49.

     Peleg Slocum was born on 17 August 1654. He was the son of Giles Slocum and Joan Cook.
     Peleg Slocum married Mary Holder about 1680. Her father, Christopher Holder, was one of the bravest and most outstanding of Quaker missionaries, a man wholly admirable, who endured extreme persecution in his early years in New England and in his latest years in Old England and seems never to have wavered. Her mother, Christopher Holder's first wife, was Mary Scott, daughter of Richard and Katherine Marbury Scott, Katherine Marbury being sister of the famous Anne Hutchinson and with "the blood of nobles, warriors, scholars, divines, and martyrs in her veins."¹

     Eliezer Slocum was born on 25 December 1664. He was the son of Giles Slocum and Joan Cook. Eliezer Slocum died in 1727.

     Abraham Tucker married Mary Slocum, daughter of Giles Slocum and Joan Cook, on 30 October 1679 at Dartmouth. Abraham Tucker married Hannah Mott, daughter of Jacob Mott and Joanna Slocum, on 26 November 1690 at Dartmouth. Abraham Tucker died on 26 April 1725.

     James Tripp was born in 1656 at Prob Portsmouth, Newport, RI.¹ He was the son of John Tripp and Mary Paine.¹ James Tripp died on 30 May 1730 at Dartmouth, Bristol, MA.¹

     Joseph Wilbore was the son of Nicholas Wilbore.¹

     Nicholas Coffin was the son of Nicholas Coffin.¹

     Tristram Coffin was the son of Nicholas Coffin.¹

     John Coffin was the son of Nicholas Coffin.¹

     Anne Coffin was the daughter of Nicholas Coffin.¹

     John Coffin was the son of Peter Coffin and Joanna Kember.¹

     Dinah Coffin was born in July 1674 at Nantucket.¹ She was the daughter of Honorable James Coffin and Mary Severance.¹ Dinah Coffin married Nathaniel Starbuck, son of Nathaniel Starbuck and Mary Coffin, in 1690.¹ Dinah Coffin died in 1750.¹
     As of 1690,her married name was Starbuck.¹

     James Mosher was born on 12 July 1725.¹ He was the son of Nicholas Mosher Jr and Rebeckah Wilcox.¹

     Lewis Mosher was the son of Nicholas Mosher Jr and Rebeckah Wilcox.¹

     John Ellis was born circa 1859 at Michigan. He was the son of James Ellis and Charlotte Byers Masey.

     Minot W. Lenfest was born on 18 July 1865.¹ He married Caroline Matilda White, daughter of Charles White and Catherine Haley, on 11 October 1891.¹

     Roy Lenfest was the son of Minot W. Lenfest and Caroline Matilda White.¹ Roy Lenfest married Flora Bartlett.²

     Hazel Lenfest was the daughter of Minot W. Lenfest and Caroline Matilda White.¹
